In 2006, HGK Asset Management, Inc expanded the scope of its services by the formation of the Bank Advisory Group.

The Bank Advisory Group, led by Dana Farrell, provides independent and outside investment advice for Community Banks. Dana has more than 10 years of bank advisory experience, working with dozens of Community Banks of all sizes throughout the United States. Community Bankers look to HGK as a trusted advisor for market and economic updates and forecasts.

These Bankers rely on HGK for all investment advice and efficient trading capabilities at a time when they face extreme competitive pressures. HGK offers advanced analytics in portfolio management, as well as portfolio reporting and pricing.


HGK signed its first Bank client in 2006 with an assignment to manage an investment portfolio of $160 million.

In 2007, the Bank Advisory Group expects to make several additions to its Client base. With the expertise and resources provided by HGK, the Bank Advisory Group expects to be highly successful in 2007 and coming years.
